Kristin Fisher joined CNN in July 2021, as the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin was born into the sector of space, as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has covered space policies under Biden and Trump Administrations on FOX News. The reporter also reported on the 2020 presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. In addition, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Trump often. This included a secret visit to Afghanistan.
